This evening we held our monthly Conservative Friends of America drinks reception with Department for International Trade Minister Penny Mordaunt. Penny and her team have been doing some fantastic work securing trade agreements with individual US states, with more to be announced soon.
On the morning of Monday 13th June 2022, Dr Liam Fox, MP for North Somerset, welcomed students from Gordano School, Portishead, North Somerset to the Houses of Parliament.
The Private Members’ Bill process involves many stages. Having been selected in the ballot for the first time ever last year, I decided to introduce the Down Syndrome Bill. This video shows how we navigated each of these stages, ensuring the Bill became the Down Syndrome Act.

Differences in the #inflation rates of the UK, US and Eurozone compared to Japan and Switzerland show that it is wrong to say global inflation rates are affecting us all equally. Clearly the countries that have printed too much money have got more inflation.
