Overlooking North Somerset Council’s plans for Clevedon seafront, it is clear that the changes being made will cause major risks to public safety. The whole thing has been the worst thought out program I have known in my 30 years as an MP for North Somerset.
For decades, people have been able to drive and park their car right on Clevedon seafront, enjoying a nice view out to sea and easy access to the local shops. All of this is going to change as North Somerset Council persist with their ridiculous plans to construct a cycle lane.
